Deepa Dillikar MPH, REHS currently working as a registered environmental Health specialist at County of Santa Clara. She received her Master’s in Public Health with specialization in environmental health from Florida. She has extensive background and research experience in environmental health specializing in food safety, lead intervention and molds. She conducted pilot studies for childhood lead poisoning, molds and asthma, and presented award winning posters and oral presentations on childhood lead poisoning, indoor air quality and molds at annual American Public Health conferences (APHA) and Florida Environmental Health Association (FEHA) conferences. Her publication includes topic such as motor vehicle air pollution and asthma in children: a meta-analysis in environmental research journal. Her most recent accomplishment includes FDA grant funding of $300,000 for Pasadena Health Department in 2012 for Food inspection tablet system.
